IT Workshop
The Base kindly loans its computer suite to the WWF on a semi-regular basis, and following an initial formal training session previously, informal IT peer training takes place every so often. The next session is scheduled for Thursday 20th of March 2008 from 10.30 am to 12.30. Please Contact Us if you are interested in coming along.
WWF Annual Social Event
A day trip to Brighton took place on Monday 10th September. Very successful it was too!

User Consultation for Treatment Plan
A consultation took place on Tuesday 11th December so Wandsworth Service Users could input into the upcoming financial year's treatment plan and funding. It was an opportunity for clients to have an influence on strategies and development. Details of the event can be found here.

Leisure Centre Pilot Project
Wandsworth Drug Project and the Source's Service User Reps are carrying out an initial pilot project to gauge the viability of service users accessing local gym facilities. Only available for WDP and The Source clients presently. For more information Contact Us.

OD Awareness and Resuscitation Training
This will take place on 11th March 2008 at Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton. It will start at 12.30 and finish at 4.30.
The Overdose and Resuscitation Training is a valuable skill that can help save lives. During the session there will be a video on drug-related overdose and a demonstration using a dummy for resuscitation techniques. There will also be an opportunity for questions and concerns with regards to personal experiences related to overdose situations.

Hepatitis C Awareness Day
This year Hepatitis C Awareness Day falls on May 19th 2008 to bring it into global alignment.
It will occur four days after the end of Harm Reduction 2008 (IHRA’s 19th International Conference). As such, there will be a major focus on hepatitis at the conference (with the support of the World Health Organization) in order to pre-launch the events on the 19th.
